It’s no wonder SWC continues to make a strong charitable commitment to programs at the local and the provincial level. After all, SWC has always placed a premium on family and community.

From BC Children’s Hospital to the Union Gospel Mission to Ride for the Cure, SWC and its staff show their support year in and year out for those requiring a hand up.

At the local community level, SWC is equally proud to support the Surrey School Meal Programs – an endeavour that helps ensure young people in the local school district receive at least one good nutritious meal per school day when the family’s budget is unable to support it.

Each day the Surrey School Meal Programs work to provide meals to as many food-insecure children as possible. Without this food, these students might otherwise go hungry, and research shows children who have enough food to eat learn better and are healthier.

All tolled, the programs provide lunches for about 2,500 elementary school kids, and about 200 secondary school kids. Please consider making a donation.
