VGH: Academic Ambulatory Care Centre
Project Description
This P3 project was on a critical timeline. Very dense layers of siltstone and sandstone for the full depth of 50’ were difficult to penetrate, posing a major challenge to excavators. However, the concrete formwork did start on time and project schedule was maintained despite this difficulty.
The 120,000lb excavator, instrumental to the success of this project, was lifted out of the excavation upon completion.
